Lockdown 4.0 Guidelines State Wise Latest News Updates: The Narendra Modi government at the Centre has released the guidelines for the fourth phase of lockdown guidelines in India today. The lockdown 4.0 guidelines had given more relaxations to states in comparison to the previous guidelines of Lockdown 3.0. In a televised address to the nation recently, PM Modi had said that lockdown extension will happen after the end of Lockdown 3.0. The demands and expectations of states on lockdown extension had been mixed- with some demanding the extension while others are in favour of opening up businesses in non-containment zones. Now, the delineation of red, green, and orange zones will be decided by the respective State/Union Territory governments, after taking into consideration the parameters shared by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the Home Ministry said. The total number of Corona positive cases in India is 90927, including 53,946 active cases, 34109 cured/discharged/migrated cases, death toll 2872 deaths. As many as 120 people died in the last 24 hours.

Lockdown 4.0 Guidelines: Several activities continue to be prohibited in Lockdown 4.0. These are
- All domestic and international air travel of passengers, except for domestic medical services, domestic air ambulance and for security purposes or purposes as permitted by MHA;
- Metro rail services;
- Running of schools, colleges, educational and training/coaching institutions;
- Hotels, restaurants and other hospitality services, except for the running of canteens in bus depots, railway stations and airports;
- Places of large public gatherings such as cinemas, shopping malls, gymnasiums entertainment parks, etc;
- Social, political, cultural and similar gatherings and other large congregations; and, access to religious places/places of worship for the public.

West Bengal Lockdown 4.0 Guidelines: The West Bengal government on Sunday said the central government order on extending the lockdown till May 31 will be followed strictly and no violations of the order would be tolerated. The ongoing status quo will continue. It will be followed very religiously till we come out with a further notification, a senior official said. "We will come out with a notification on Monday afternoon," the official said on whether any plan was chalked out following the central government issuing guidelines of extending the ongoing lockdown till May 31. "Lockdown would continue, as it has been in place in the state, since the beginning. Any sort of violation would be dealt with strictly," the official added. A meeting of senior state government officials was held tonight to discuss the modalities of the order by the Ministry of Home Affairs. (PTI)

# Sports complexes and stadia will be permitted to open; however, spectators will not be allowed.
# With a view to ensuring safety in offices and workplaces, employers on best effort basis should ensure that Arogya Setu is installed by all employees having compatible mobile phones.
# All cinema halls, shopping malls, gymnasiums, swimming pools, entertainment parks, theatres, bars and auditoriums, assembly halls and similar places, shall continue to remain closed throughout the country till 31st May.
